On-Site Consultation
This involves a visit to your garden to offer ideas on how to enhance or develop an area of your property, suggest plants that should do well at your location and address any plant or soil problems you may have.

Overall Site Plan
After a site-visit and extensive discussion with you about what you envision for your property, the activities and family members that it must accommodate as well as views you wish to enhance or obscure, an overall site plan will be developed. Hardscape elements will be planned and defined and garden beds will be designated and designed. A master plan such as this is a useful tool for implementing a phased project.

Garden Design
Based on a site-visit and discussion with you about style, color, ease of maintenance, uses and other elements, Gardens By Design will develop a unique design for your garden areas. A plan of each garden will be provided with plant selections designated on the drawings. A detailed plant list with a maintenance guide is included.

Installation Services
If you request, Gardens By Design will be involved in the installation of our designs. We can provide artistic direction to your contractor, helping with plant placement and planting. We can also work with you on the implementation if you wish to do it yourself. Or once the hardscape elements are in place, Gardens By Design can do all the planting for you.
Maintenance Services
For our design clients, Gardens By Design offers perennial garden maintenance on a monthly fee basis. Spring clean up and winter preparation are available as options as well.
